All the sudden my 4-year-old wants to do everything I do. She talks like me, acts like me, wants to watch the same TV as me, shop at the same places as me, take showers like me, wear her hair like me, dress like me, even antique shop with me. Tonight she laid in bed and told me she wanted to get all cozied up with me. The other day she told a sitter she and her mommy have issues. So now she even has “issues” like me?! 
I put her to bed a few minutes ago and she says,(referring to her having milk before bed), “Mommy, just don’t worry about it!” I have never baby talked to my children, but I’m starting to think I need to tone it down a notch with the grown up talk! Pretty soon she’ll be requesting a glass of red wine accompanied with an R-rated movie… I think she’s 4 going on 40.
